This Privacy Policy explains how Slowtwitch, LLC (“Slowtwitch,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit or buy from the Slowtwitch Shop at shop.slowtwitch.com. It works alongside our Terms of Sale.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Orders: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number and the items you buy.
Account: the Slowtwitch Shop uses your forum.slowtwitch.com account to sign in, so we receive your username and email address from that account.
Slowtwitch+ memberships: your plan, billing dates and membership status.
Messages: anything you send us through the Contact page or by email, including order questions and return requests.
Reviews: product reviews you choose to post, which are shown publicly with your display name.

Payment information. Card and bank details are entered directly with our payment processors, Stripe (including Link) and PayPal. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically. When you browse the shop, we and our analytics and advertising providers collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, products added to your cart and how you arrived at the site, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).

2. How we use your information

To process and fulfill your orders, including passing your order to the brand that ships it.
To manage your account and Slowtwitch+ membership, including renewals and renewal reminders.
To send order confirmations, shipping updates and other service messages.
To answer your questions and handle returns, refunds, warranty claims and payment disputes.
To prevent fraud and protect the security of the shop and our customers.
To understand how the shop is used, measure our advertising and improve the shop.
To keep business, accounting and tax records and meet our legal obligations.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:

Brands that fulfill your order. Most products ship directly from the brand that makes them. We share your name, shipping address, email or phone number and the items ordered with that brand so it can ship your order, provide tracking and handle warranty service.
Payment processors. Stripe and PayPal process payments and help detect fraud, under their own privacy policies.
Service providers that run the shop for us, such as website hosting, email delivery and our customer support help desk. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
Analytics and advertising providers, such as Google, as described in Section 4.
Legal and safety reasons, when required by law, to respond to legal process, to enforce our Terms of Sale or to protect our rights, customers or others.
Business changes, if Slowtwitch is involved in a merger, sale or reorganization, as part of that transaction.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

The shop uses cookies to keep your cart and sign-in working. We also use Google Tag Manager and Google Ads to understand how visitors use the shop and to measure and improve our advertising, and our payment processors use cookies to help prevent fraud. These providers may collect information about your visit through cookies and similar technologies.

Your choice. When you first visit, a cookie notice lets you accept or reject non-essential cookies. If you reject them, Google analytics and advertising cookies are turned off for your browser. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a rejection.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although parts of the shop, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them. The shop does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

5. Emails

We send emails needed to complete your order or manage your membership, such as confirmations, renewal reminders and support replies. If we send marketing emails, every one will include a way to unsubscribe. Unsubscribing does not stop order and account emails.

6. How long we keep information

We keep order, payment and membership records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet accounting, tax and legal requirements, which is generally several years. We keep account information while your account is active. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account details and addresses in My Account, and cancel a Slowtwitch+ membership there at any time. You can also ask us to give you a copy of, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by contacting us. We will verify your request before acting on it. We may keep information we are legally required to keep, such as order and tax records. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state’s privacy laws, and we will honor them as required.

8. Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, and payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal using encryption. No website or online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Slowtwitch Shop is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page.
